Help your
students
speak up
Kelas Sekejap is a web app that helps students speak English with more confidence. We are launching it for high school students — and before that, we are inviting a small group of students to try it free for 3 weeks and tell us what they think.
What students do
- Practice speaking English in the app — about 15 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, on their own phone. The app listens and coaches them.
- A short speaking activity in the app at the start and at the end (about 5 minutes each). It is not an exam — it shows how much they improve. Students who join need to do both.
- A short check-in every week (5 questions) and a 15-minute chat at the end.
- Email us when they need help — every student gets our support address in their instruction email. The team answers questions in English, Bahasa Melayu, and 中文 during the 3 weeks.
Dates: 17 August – 6 September 2026 (3 weeks). Students who complete the programme get opportunities to join more Kelas Sekejap activities and events — plus prizes for the top performers.
Which students fit
We're looking for students who want to improve their English. They do not need to be top students — what matters is the desire to learn and get better. A quiet student who knows the answer but never raises their hand in English class is a perfect fit.
We're asking each teacher to nominate 10–15 students (Form 1 to Form 5). We'll confirm final numbers with you. Students need a phone (or reliable phone access) and a parent's consent, which parents give online in about 2 minutes.
What we ask of you
Step 1
Nominate students who fit the description above — just names, forms, and a parent contact each.
Step 2
Forward one link to your parent group — ks-parents.pages.dev. It explains the programme in English, Bahasa Melayu and 中文, and parents give consent on the page itself: about 2 minutes on their phone, nothing to print or sign, and nothing for you to collect. We send you a message you can paste straight into the group.
Step 3
Share the sign-up link. We will send you a link to share with your students to sign up and start learning.
Step 4
We support your students directly. The Kelas Sekejap team handles the onboarding — each student gets an instruction email with setup steps and an address to email for help, in English, Bahasa Melayu, or 中文. Nothing lands on you.
Step 5
We celebrate your students. The programme ends with prizes for top performers — and we'll send you a summary of how your students did.
Common questions
Does it cost anything?
No. The full 3 weeks are free for every student in the programme. After it ends, families can choose to continue at a discounted price — completely optional, and we only mention it once, at the end.
Is this extra work for the school?
No. Everything happens in the app, on the student's own time. There is nothing to mark, supervise, or organise — after nominating students and forwarding one link to the parent group, you're done.
Is student data safe?
Yes. We collect only what the programme needs (name, form, school, and practice recordings), keep it private and secure in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, and never share it with the school. It does not affect school grades. Parents can withdraw their child at any time.
What do students get out of it?
Three weeks of daily English speaking and listening practice with personalised feedback. Students who complete the 21 days will also be eligible for future Kelas Sekejap events and rewards.
