Help your
students
speak up
Kelas Sekejap is a web app that helps students speak English with more confidence. We are launching it for high school students — and before that, we are inviting a small group of students to try it free for 3 weeks and tell us what they think.
What students do
- Practice speaking English in the app — about 10 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, on their own phone. The app listens and coaches them.
- A short speaking activity in the app at the start and at the end (about 5 minutes each). It is not an exam — it shows how much they improve. Students who join need to do both.
- A short check-in every week (5 questions) and a 15-minute chat at the end.
Dates: 17 August – 6 September 2026 (3 weeks). Students who complete the programme receive a certificate and a small reward.
Which students fit
It works best for students who are quiet or less confident in English. They do not need to be top students — in fact, the students who benefit most are the ones who avoid speaking. If you can picture a student who knows the answer but never raises their hand in English class, that's who this is for.
We're asking each teacher to nominate up to 10 students (Form 1 to Form 5). We'll confirm final numbers with you — usually 2–10 per school. Students need a phone (or reliable phone access) and a parent's signed consent.
What we ask of you
Step 1
Nominate students who fit the description above — just names, forms, and a parent contact each.
Step 2
Forward the parent letter (downloadable PDF — English, Bahasa Melayu, and 中文) and collect the signed consent — parents email the signed form to rebekah@kelassekejap.com and CC you, or you can send the forms to us directly.
Step 3
Share the sign-up link. We will send you a link to share with your students to sign up and start learning.
Step 4
That's it. The Kelas Sekejap team will handle the onboarding and the daily learning practice. We'll share how your students did at the end!
Common questions
Does it cost anything?
No. The full 3 weeks are free for every student in the programme. After it ends, families can choose to continue at a discounted price — completely optional, and we only mention it once, at the end.
Is this extra work for the school?
No. Everything happens in the app, on the student's own time. There is nothing to mark, supervise, or organise — after nominating students and forwarding the parent letter, you're done.
Is student data safe?
Yes. We collect only what the programme needs (name, form, school, and practice recordings), keep it private and secure in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, and never share it with the school. It does not affect school grades. Parents can withdraw their child at any time.
What do students get out of it?
Three weeks of daily English speaking and listening practice with personalised feedback. Students who complete the 21 days will also be eligible for future Kelas Sekejap events and rewards.
